Lee Hamilton's Remarks on Classification
Former Congressman Lee H. Hamilton, president and director of The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, and vice chairman of the 9/11 Commission, warns about the danger of over-classifying information in a speech at the Information Security Oversight Office Symposim. "I want more information made publicly available," he said. "Representative democracy demands the free flow of information, so that the American people can be informed about the activities of their representatives and their government." Read the speech here.
